Cooper's Big Boy Bedroom Unveiled

Well folks, the moment you've all been waiting for, Cooper's big boy bedroom!! He absolutely loves it. He's obsessed with his bed and can't stop talking about footballs and baseballs and basketballs! We finally finished hanging decorations this evening during the storms. I asked Cooper if he liked his new room, and he just simply replies, "Yeah..." Oh, his little face is just priceless when he walks in. It was worth the effort!

Our Front Yard

I finally had a chance to work on the front yard a little. I decided to do perennials only (mostly just shades of green - some do bloom) with red mulch. I think it complements our house just enough. We also added some walkway lights to tie it all together. I'm going for the 'less is more' approach.

Now, let's just hope I can (1) keep these alive and (2) keep the grass out!! A mother's work is never done! And, I love every minute of it!!

Bounce N Craze

Cooper had a great time at Bounce N Craze for Reagan's birthday party in April. Yeah...I know it has been a while since I've updated!! But, we've been busy as you will see. It took Cooper a little bit to warm up to Bounce N Craze, but with Daddy's help, he was up and going in no time!! Hanging out with his old buddy Landon helped a little too!

Cooper started in the ball pit. Daddy kept blowing the air in his face, and his curly hair was blowing like crazy. As you can see, he wasn't all that thrilled.

Weeeeeee!!! Cooper loved the little roller coaster. He went up and down, up and down...

...and when he got to the end, Landon wound push him a little further. And yes, Landon is smaller than Cooper. He just turned 1 in March. He's a strong little guy. Cooper would just sit and wait if Landon wasn't behind him right away. Too funny!!

Finally, Daddy takes him down the big slide!

Yay!! Daddy, that was so fun. Let's go again and again. And, that's just what they did!

Easter Sunday

Confession: I took 196 pictures on Easter Sunday. Needless to say, I had trouble picking the best to share. Shall I start my 12 step program now??

Wow! The Easter Bunny sure was good to Cooper this year. Can you tell he has a thing for Elmo and Thomas?

Only on Easter will a child have chocolate around his mouth before 9:00 am! I think this little guy had around 10 Hershey Kisses at least. Hmmm...no wonder he didn't take a nap!

 

He's got to release some of that chocolate energy. We've got a ball player on our hands. Oh, and he's a switch hitter and a left-handed pitcher. Cha-ching!! I sure hope he wants to take care of his Mommy and Daddy when he's making the big bucks.

Here, he is trying to find the green eggs that are right in front of him. I guess they blended in pretty well (and no, they are not in the picture if you can't find them). Can you sense the concentration?

Of course, Mason was hamming it up for the camera. I had to stop and snap a few of him. Such a sweet boy!

Cooper wanted to give cousin Mason some sugar! Look at his sweet puckered lips. Mason's reaction is priceless. He just laughed at him! Poor baby got shot down by his own cuz!

Check out the confetti in the curls. It all eventually fell out thanks to the wind. Those curls sure held on tight for a while.

This was certainly one of the best Easters ever! We had so much fun and the weather was beautiful. I hope everyone else had a great one. Now, get out and enjoy this beautiful spring weather!!

Nana Jana's Trip to Visit

We had so much fun when Nana Jana came to visit. Thankfully, Papa's surgery went well, and we were able to spend some quality time with him and Granny on the farm. I don't know about Cooper and Nana, but I needed some family time. 

So serious. He looks like an angel with the shiny blonde curls.

Papa and Cooper rode around the farm on the Kubota all to day. They had the best time. Cooper would just talk and talk. What a big boy up next to his Papa.

Of course, every little boy can turn a flower into a baseball bat. He just kept swinging!

There's no better way to end a day on the farm than in the arms of Granny! Oh to be little again...

Mommy's New Toy (The Nikon D3000)

Kenny and Cooper got me a Nikon D3000 for my birthday. Now, I take pictures of Cooper all of the time!! I practiced a little during bath time when I first got it. I love these sweet pictures. He has to be the most photographed kid of all time. 

And yes, I absolutely recommend this camera!!!
